hello, My name is N.Fadel and my mom is a fullani-hausa from the Adamawa region of Cameroun. But i wasn't born there and i do not currently live there. I am currently writting an alternative history novel, centered on the fullany culture of the region. The work is yet humongous, and upon writting, i have realised how ignorant i am of my mother's language (i do speak it quite fluently, but perhabs not as a native, because as i said, i did not grew up in a fulani nor hausa environment).
None the less, on the pursue of my writtings, i have been searching for many back ups and supports that i may need. The only problem that i have encountered is the non consistencies or detailed explanation. one thing for example is on the pronouns you have given, i have tried to elaborate it better, here as follows, can you help me check up and perhabs determine wheter i am wrong, and if yes, then where and how.
PRONOUNS IN FULFULDE LANGUAGE
~ I - Mi / min - me / am (pocessif)
~ You - A / An / Ma (pocessif)
~ He/She - O / Mo
~ Him/Her - Kanko / Mako (pocessif)
~ It - Ɗum / ndu / ndi (plural) (used for living things Mostly Animals)
~ We - Min (Excluding you) / En (Including you)
~ Us - Minin (Excluding you) / Enen (Including you)
~ You - on / mon (pocessif)
~ They - ɓe
~ Them - Kamɓe / Maɓɓe

Unlike English, Fulani has three sets of pronouns.
Strong pronouns, like "An", are independent words like English pronouns.
The three forms are personal pronouns which are the "colloquial" form of "you". The respectful form uses the plural form of "you" just as in latin languages such as french or italian.

MA ; is a pocessif, It is fixed at the end of a word:
- after a noun to fulfill the role of possessive adjective:
kougal - work / kougal ma - your work
It agrees with the possessor and not with the “possessed” element.
The noun which bears an affix pronoun is determined by it, and does not take the article.
- after a verb to fulfill the role of complement: jabbiti - acceullire / jabboutu min - welcome us

Ma" is used when you are referring directly to the person you are speaking to, while
"A" is always followed by a verb, “A” is a subject pronoun, “A” is always subject:

"A" is the subject of a sentence, while "An" is the object, meaning that you should use "A" if you are the one acting, while "An" is the word to use when an action is done to you
An - is called a “disjunctive” or “stressed” or “strong” pronoun as in: me, you, him/her, self, us, you, them, them:

“An” is an indirect object pronoun, “An” is used as an imperative:
An on waddai - You're the one who didn't bring!
This can also add stress to a statement like above as well:

“An/A” is used when there is more than one subject and the emphasis is on you:
An bé Ali - you and ali.
A mbourri Mo / you are more than him
“Ma” is used when there is more than one subject and the emphasis is not on you
Ali bé ma - Ali and you
O mbourri Ma / He is more than you.

Another subject i had to elaborate where on the numbers. I may explain my point better on another post!
thanks in advance and big up for the job you accomplish on your youtube channel.
